Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a E-commerce Developer. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining e-commerce websites on Shopify.

This is a full-time position with a focus on direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce websites. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with a young and vibrant team, and gain experience with some of the best brands.

About the Role

This role requires a strong understanding of Shopify development, including Liquid sections/blocks, customising themes, and optimising site performance. Additionally, you should have experience with WordPress theme and plugin customisation, front-end fundamentals, and Git version control.

Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end Shopify builds for D2C brands, including customising Online Store 2.0 themes with Liquid, JS/ES6, JSON, SCSS, and Shopify CLI.
  • Select, configure, or lightly code Shopify apps and WordPress plugins to meet each client's unique D2C requirements.
  • Implement site performance and conversion rate optimisation (CRO), including Core Web Vitals, schema/SEO basics, A/B tests, and analytics.
  • Ensure smooth integrations with CRM, marketing automation, shipping/ERP APIs, payment gateways, BNPL, and loyalty systems.
  • Provide ongoing care and maintenance, including post-launch security patches and rapid troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years developing production Shopify storefronts (Dawn-based themes, Liquid sections/blocks).
  • Proven experience shipping or scaling D2C e-commerce sites.
  • WordPress theme & plugin customisation (PHP basics, ACF, Woo experience a plus).
  • Front-end fundamentals: semantic HTML5, modern CSS (Flexbox/Grid), responsive vanilla JS.
  • Git version control and basic CLI workflows.
