Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced API automation specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in API testing and performance optimization.

This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, including experience with Java and Cucumber for test automation, as well as familiarity with REST APIs and microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive API test automation frameworks using Java.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for REST calls and APIs to ensure robust integration.
  • Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or similar tools to identify bottlenecks and optimize API scalability.
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide detailed reports to development teams.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand API functionality and build effective test cases.
  • Participate in Agile development environments, including reviewing and editing API documentation to ensure accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as an automation QA engineer, with a focus on API testing and performance optimization.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java for writing automation tests.
  • Expertise in integration testing of REST APIs and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
  • Ability to create and maintain an API automation framework.
  • Familiarity with Angular applications and their interaction with REST APIs.
