We're seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to drive backend systems forward. This is an end-to-end role where you'll design, develop and maintain scalable APIs and services.

About the Position
  • Design and build backend services using JavaScript (Node.js) for high-performance results.
  • Create and optimize RESTful APIs with GraphQL support when necessary.
  • Take ownership of development from architecture to testing, deployment and monitoring.
  • E nsure system scalability, security and performance meet expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
  • Analyze issues in production and troubleshoot to resolve them promptly.
  • Maintain clean, documented code that's easy to understand and modify.
Key Requirements
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in startups or small teams.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) with knowledge of frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js or similar.
  • Experience with databases such as SQL and/or NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of system design, scalability and security best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end solutions effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
