Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineering Product Lead to join our team at Technoidentity. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of our data engineering practices and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Product Requirements Documentation: Create detailed product requirements documents for upcoming initiatives and iterate based on feedback from team leads.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Partner with DE Tech leads and data engineers to run effective engineering standup meetings and provide guidance on priority of tickets in the backlog.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure business requirements are well understood by DE at all times and work collaboratively with DE to create reusable, thorough, and detailed testing and validation plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on data requirements and develop scalable systems.
  • Data Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of long-term data strategies and roadmaps and influence the technical direction of data engineering practices within the organization.
  • Communication: Communicate team and project progress to team leads and/or business stakeholders on a continuous basis.
Requirements
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, executes on projects and other well-defined tasks on time.
  • Organizational Skills: Well organized and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written communication and writing skills, given templates and best practices, creates Product Requirements Docs for the engineering team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborates well with peers and gains insight from teams.
  • Technical Skills: Adequate SQL skills and hands-on experience to help perform ad-hoc data analysis, proficient with Windows/Mac OS, understanding of database principles, prior hands-on experience with JIRA preferred, comfortable with using Google workspace (Google Doc, GSheets, Google mail).
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
