Social Media Manager Job Description

At our organization, we're seeking a highly skilled and strategic social media manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be the bridge between our brands and their audiences, managing both client expectations and community engagement with equal finesse.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client relationships and ensuring seamless project delivery from brief to execution
  • Developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness
  • Creating content calendars and overseeing social media campaigns across platforms
  • Coordinating with internal teams to deliver integrated campaigns on time
  • Analysing social media performance and presenting insights to clients
  • Managing community engagement, responding to comments, and building brand conversations

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • Strong relationship-building skills and natural client management abilities
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate brand objectives into actionable social media plans
  • Experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Analytics mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns
  • Background in consumer brands or retail (helpful but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
