Lead Flutter Developer

This role is for one of our weekday clients. As the Lead Flutter Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications. You will leverage your expertise in Flutter and Dart to build and optimize our mobile apps, guiding a team of developers to deliver top-notch solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mobile Application Development: Lead the development and enhancement of mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
  • Architecture and Optimization: Architect and implement scalable and efficient solutions for complex mobile applications.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and refine application requirements.
  • Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across various devices and platforms.
  • Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in mobile development.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely and successful completion of development milestones.
Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Flutter Developer with a strong portfolio of mobile applications built with Flutter and Dart.
  • Mobile Development Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of mobile application development best practices, including UI/UX design principles and mobile architecture.
  • Leadership and Project Management: Experience leading development teams and managing projects from concept to deployment.
  • Integration and Version Control: Proficiency in integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries, as well as strong understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git) and agile development methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, with effective communication skills and a proactive approach to project management.
Preferred Skills:
  • State Management Solutions: Experience with state management solutions such as Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc.
  • Native Development: Knowledge of native Android and iOS development is a plus.
  • Backend Technologies: Familiarity with backend technologies and cloud services (e.g. Firebase, AWS) is advantageous.
