Job Description

This role involves the design and development of data models, with a focus on Banking Domain expertise.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data architecture principles.
  • Proficiency in data lineage/modeling tools (ER Studio) and Informatica toolsets including Data Archive, EDC, Oracle database.
  • Expert knowledge of data warehouse design for high volume processing and performance.
  • Business Intelligence tools, including Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI.
Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and enforce data models and naming standards across all deliverables.
  2. Reverse and forward engineer business legacy data models.
  3. Communicate technical data integration requirements, designs, and decisions to IT and Business stakeholders.
  4. Reduce data redundancy, support consolidation, transformation, and training of Business and IT members.
  5. Design and develop data lineage with or without pre-existing documentation.
  6. Create and maintain current and target state data integration models and flows.
  7. Partner with Business Intelligence teams to define reporting goals and/or dashboard requirements.
  8. Design and develop data models and solutions to meet reporting and analytics needs.
  9. Ensure design documentation includes Business rules, Data security, Data quality, Lineage, Harmonization.
  10. Support testing and deployment activities as required.
  11. Serve as the single point of contact for data-related questions and quality issues.
