Backend Software Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs, as well as experience working with DeFi protocols and low-level protocol work.

This includes owning the development of event decoders for major DeFi protocols, building and maintaining data extractors, implementing logic to calculate trade prices, and collaborating closely with data and infrastructure teams to build efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines.

The successful candidate will be able to write clean, well-tested, and efficient backend code in Go or Rust, and possess a strong ability to work independently and own complex backend systems from design to deployment.

Nice to Have includes experience working directly with blockchain nodes, familiarity with price oracles and on-chain data feeds, and exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality backend software applications.
  • Owning the development process, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects and meet business objectives.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Go or Rust programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols and low-level protocol work.
  • Knowledge of data ingestion pipeline concepts and practices.
  • Familiarity with blockchain nodes, price oracles, and on-chain data feeds.
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
