Job Opportunity: Cloud Systems Administrator for SAP Business One

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cloud Systems Administrator to support and maintain SAP Business One environments hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support SAP Business One hosted on Azure, including virtual machines, databases, networking, storage, and security.
  • Perform regular system monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and security of SAP B1 workloads running on the Azure cloud.
  • Manage Azure resources efficiently to optimize costs and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies to prevent data loss and downtime.
  • Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Azure governance, security, and IT best practices to protect sensitive information.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or related tools to increase productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Systems Administrator (certification preferred) with at least 10+ years of IT experience.
  • Practical experience with SAP Business One administration, preferably with SQL Server/HANA knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Infrastructure as a Service/Platform as a Service services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, monitoring, backup, and security.
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server administration to manage complex systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote capacity with flexible availability to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cost Management to optimize resource utilization and security.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One integrations with external applications to extend functionality and improve user experience.
