Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and maintain data pipelines, design data models, and automate reporting workflows.

  • Data Pipeline Development: Develop data pipelines connecting Aurora MySQL → Redshift Serverless → S3/QuickSight.
  • Data Modeling: Design data models, materialized views, and APIs for fast reporting and analytics.
  • Automated Reporting: Automate scheduled reporting workflows and exports for clients and admins.
Required Skills:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • AWS Data Stack Experience: Strong experience with AWS data stack (Aurora, Redshift, S3, Lambda/EventBridge).
  • Solid SQL and Data Modeling Skills: Solid SQL and data modeling skills (fact/dimension schemas, materialized views).
  • BI Tools Familiarity: Familiarity with BI tools like QuickSight, Metabase, or Superset.
  • IAM, Security, and Data Governance Knowledge: Good understanding of IAM, security, and data governance principles.
Desirable Skills:

Prior experience with the following technologies is a plus:

  • Python Experience: Experience with Python (and libraries like awswrangler for data automation).
  • ETL/ELT Frameworks Exposure: Exposure to ETL/ELT frameworks (Glue, Airflow, dbt).
  • Data Lake Best Practices Knowledge: Knowledge of data lake best practices (Parquet, partitioning).
  • Infrastructure-as-Code Comfort: Comfort with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CDK).
  • Multi-Tenant SaaS Reporting Architectures Understanding: Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS reporting architectures.
