Software Development Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join our Finance Technology team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing big data and machine learning applications that process and analyze transactions worth billions of dollars a day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers on design and execute that design in a scalable and extensible way.
  • Detect fraudulent transactions vendors by applying machine learning techniques and help Amazon business every day.
  • Work with fellow software engineers, scientists, and business groups across finance operations.
A Day in the Life:

You will work with terabytes of data, develop machine learning pipelines which process billions of dollars, and partner with internal customers to understand requirements and get feedback.

About the Team:

The team owns big data and machine learning applications and works with finance operations to prevent, recover, or avoid internal and external theft, fraud, abuse, and waste.

Requirements:
  • Three years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Two years of non-internship design or architecture design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
