Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with 3.5+ years of relevant experience to grow their career in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform live underwriting with complete end-to-end case ownership.
  • Evaluate borrower profiles using the 4 Cs of Credit – Character, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral.
  • Conduct a detailed credit report review for accurate risk assessment.
  • Work on both UK mortgage and US mortgage underwriting, including income calculation, debt-to-income ratio assessment, loan-to-value ratio evaluation, asset calculation, and PITI review.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3.5 years of underwriting experience (live / end-to-end).
  • Experience in the UK mortgage process or the US mortgage underwriting – both will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of credit report review, DTI, LTV, PITI, income & asset calculations.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with high accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
