Executive Vice President Medical Coding Position

We seek an experienced AVP Medical Coding professional to lead our team in Kozhikode, India. The ideal candidate will have over 17+ years of experience in medical coding, with a proven track record of managing large teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations, workload, and staffing; hiring, disciplining, and performance appraisals; training; and monitoring quality of work.
- Develop long-range and short-term goals, objectives, plans, and programs for implementation.
- Assist in planning, developing, and controlling the budget for staffing costs, capital equipment, and operations.
- Evaluate the impact of innovations and changes in programs, policies, and procedures.
- Design and implement systems and methods to improve data accessibility, identify, assess, and resolve problems, and prepare administrative reports.
- Oversee and monitor the coding compliance program, develop educational and training programs on coding compliance, and ensure dissemination and communication of regulatory, policy, and guideline changes.
- Conduct and oversee coding audit efforts, coordinate monitoring of coding accuracy and documentation adequacy, report non-compliance issues, and implement corrective action plans.
- Conduct trend analyses to identify patterns and variations in coding practices.
- Review claim denials and rejections pertaining to coding and medical necessity issues and implement corrective action plans to prevent similar issues from recurring.
