Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Specialist to play a key role in our organization's security posture.

  • Investigate and respond to security alerts raised by the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring timely and effective incident response.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems, identifying potential threats and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with the 24-hour on-call Security Incident Response Team to manage and respond to security incidents, providing expert analysis and guidance.
  • Perform malware analysis and handle identified threats, ensuring the integrity of our systems and data.
  • Correlate information from various security tools during incident investigations, providing a comprehensive understanding of security incidents.
  • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence feeds to identify relevant threats and enter identified vulnerabilities into the vulnerability management process.
  • Execute vulnerability management processes, monitoring scanning tools and entering identified vulnerabilities into the management system.
  • Configure and manage IT security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Intune, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Monitor the security email inbox and respond to received notifications and requests, providing timely and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance security education and awareness across the organization, promoting a culture of security and compliance.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in coordinating all phases of security incident response: identification, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
  • Proficient in analyzing logs from SIEM systems, firewalls, and network devices to identify malicious activity.
  • Relevant certifications such as GCIH, ECIH, or equivalent are an advantage.
  • Experience working in a SOC is highly desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft and AWS security tools, including Dynamic Application Scanning Tools, Network Scanners, Open-Source forensic tools, and Anti-Malware Scanners.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of some of the following tools: Dynamic Application Scanning Tools, Network scanners, Open-Source forensic tools, Microsoft/AWS security tools, Anti Malware Scanners, and Web Application Firewalls.
