ServiceNow Developer Role

Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and optimize workflows in alignment with business requirements, focusing on Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
  • Configure and update Discovery schedules, monitor daily runs for errors, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable CI identification and population.
  • Enhance Discovery probes and patterns to support complex infrastructure and cloud environments, driving continuous improvement.
  • Streamline the ServiceNow platform through iterative enhancements, user feedback incorporation, and performance tuning.
  • Customize form layouts, fields, and user interfaces to support data consistency and usability across modules.
  • Tailor and extend CAB Workbench functionality to support automated workflows and board operations.
  • Develop and maintain robust REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems, ensuring seamless data exchange.
  • Manage Scheduled Jobs, Script Includes, Business Rules, and automation scripts for operational efficiency, reducing manual effort.
  • Customize the Employee Center portal to improve branding, content delivery, and user engagement, enhancing the overall employee experience.
  • Design and publish reports and dashboards to support performance tracking and operational transparency, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues using advanced scripting skills and resolve defects promptly, minimizing downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in software development principles.
  • Relevant ServiceNow training in ITSM, Discovery, and scripting modules, highlighting expertise in the platform.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, showcasing a proven track record of success.
  • Proven track record with ServiceNow ITSM modules and Discovery implementation, emphasizing ability to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Experience with form customization, API integration, and dashboard/report creation, demonstrating versatility in solution design.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting platform issues and scripting errors, showcasing problem-solving skills.
Benefits and Requirements:

This is a remote role that requires working hours and public holidays as per Singapore. The candidate will be required to arrange their own laptop and have a 1 year renewable contract.
