Job Title: Medical Coder Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled Medical Coder to accurately assign codes for interventional radiology procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Review and interpret complex reports to assign accurate codes.
    • Apply appropriate codes for vascular and non-vascular procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with ACR, CMS, NCCI policies and regulations.
    • Stay updated on IR coding guidelines and compliance regulations.
  • Requirements:
    • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or CIRCC certification strongly preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology Coding.
    • Familiarity with radiology workflow and coding tools.

Must have MIPS coding knowledge. Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems is a plus.
Qualifications Summary:

  • Proven track record of accurate coding.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
