Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Performance Test Engineer III to join our Endpoint team. As a key member of our global team, you will design, develop, and execute performance tests to ensure the high-quality delivery of our Windows, Linux, and MAC capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop performance tests to identify bottlenecks and offer recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and execute new feature performance tests.
- Configure workstations, operating environments, and the system under test as needed to complete assigned testing.
- Work closely with globally distributed stakeholders and remote development teams to ensure high-quality components are delivered on schedule.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software performance testing or equivalent.
- Strong experience with load generation tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Apache Bench.
- Experience with continuous performance integration tools like Jenkins.
- Ability to monitor performance metrics and resource utilization across various components.
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
We also welcome candidates with experience in:
- Automation test infrastructures and frameworks.
- Manual testing.
- Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Previous testing experience within the security industry.
