Our organization is seeking a skilled Java Developer to lead the migration of our existing Ant-based build system to either Maven or Gradle, while preserving the current project structure. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in establishing a robust CI/CD pipeline within GitHub to streamline our development and deployment processes.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in build tools, a passion for automation, and excellent problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for conducting a thorough analysis of the current Ant build system to identify dependencies, tasks, and project structure. Additionally, they will optimize the build process for performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Migrate the build system to either Maven or Gradle, ensuring minimal disruption to the development workflow.
  • Integrate the CI/CD pipeline with the chosen build tool (Maven or Gradle).
  • Implement automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment stages.

The candidate will also contribute to the development and maintenance of Java-based applications, writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code. They will collaborate with the development team to ensure project success. A strong understanding of CI/CD principles, experience with tools like GitHub Actions, and proficiency in version control systems (Git) are essential for this role.
