Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture Design and Implementation: Define and oversee the full-stack architecture, covering front-end, back-end, and AI/ML integration, optimized for low latency and high transaction volumes.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, manage backlogs, and prioritize tasks, driving excellence in both technical delivery and team collaboration.
  • Advanced Model Integration: Implement and optimize machine learning models for real-time fraud detection and anomaly scoring.
  • Data Processing and Pipelines: Architect data pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, PySpark, and Kafka to handle real-time and batch data processing across multiple sources.
  • Enterprise-Grade Security and Compliance: Design systems that meet stringent security requirements and financial compliance standards, including data encryption, access control, and logging.
  • Scalability and Optimization: Ensure the platform can scale effectively to handle millions of transactions, optimizing data flows and service orchestration for high availability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI, data engineering, and product teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7-8 years in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a technical lead or architect role. Experience in the fraud detection or finance industry is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Full-Stack Knowledge: Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and back-end languages like Python, Java, or Node.js.
  • Machine Learning Models: Familiarity with deploying and optimizing models such as GNNs, and other advanced models.
  • Data Processing and Orchestration: Experience with data engineering tools, including Apache Airflow for orchestration, PySpark for big data processing, and Apache Kafka for streaming.
  • Cloud and DevOps: Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Database Expertise: Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and experience in data modeling for high-frequency applications.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Problem Solver with Extreme Drive: Self-motivated, with the ability to approach complex problems creatively and drive solutions from start to finish.
  • Collaborative and Respectful Leadership: Skilled in managing a team with respect, fostering collaboration, and aligning on shared goals.
