Job Opportunity

As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality software products.

  • Manage the QA delivery process and provide regular feedback to the team for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through thorough test planning and automation planning.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality to deliver high-quality features.
  • Work under project deadlines and strive to improve quality processes standards with each release.
  • Take ownership of release deliverables, multitask, and mentor junior engineers to achieve excellence.
  • Generate QA artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and test execution reports, and release deployment guides.
  • Identify, document, and track defects. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Prepare and configure test environments, including software installations and configurations.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to find defects not covered by test cases.
  • Deploy microservices applications in Engineering environments.
  • Support SRE teams for production releases.
  • Improve processes for test plan reviews and ensure thoroughness of test scenarios.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automated testing of SAAS products and leading teams of 3-5 engineers.
  • Experience in public or private Cloud platforms is required.
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications.
  • Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in functional UI and API automation.
  • Linux knowledge is mandatory.
  • Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Oracle DB is a plus.
