Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Your responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute test cases to validate product functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Requirement Traceability Matrix for tests designed and ensure thoroughness
  • Select suitable test cases for automation based on criteria
  • Perform SIT & UAT test execution
  • Report defects and collaborate with developers/BA IT for defect fixation
  • Demonstrate strong logical thinking and communication skills
  • Maintain a growth mindset as a self-starter and team player
  • Travel to customer sites as needed

Requirements:

You should have experience in core software testing and possess the following skills:

  • Preferred exposure in health insurance/motor insurance/travel insurance/property and casualty
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in software testing
  • Ability to prepare scenarios and derive test cases
  • Proactive approach to test case execution, defect discussion, and risk identification
  • Familiarity with writing SQL queries, databases, and basic SQL query execution
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Quality Center) and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
