Job Opportunity: Data Engineer - Contract

Job Title: Data Engineer- Contract

Experience: 5+ years of experience required in data engineering.

Duration: Six-month contract period with flexibility to extend based on performance and business needs.

Location: Remote working arrangement, flexible scheduling, and shift timing alignment for IST and EST time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced Postgres SQL solutions with expertise in query writing, CTEs, window functions, indexing, and optimization techniques.
  • Design and maintain data models using star schema, facts, and dimensions approaches.
  • Handle semi-structured data with proficiency in json/jsonb formats within Postgres databases.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as Airbyte is essential for data integration and processing tasks.
  • Prepare high-quality data for dashboards utilizing Tableau or similar visualization tools.
  • Ensure robust data validation, QA checks, and troubleshooting capabilities for optimal system performance.
  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and project success.

  • Business Intelligence and Data Analysis
