Machine Learning Engineer Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data and AI team.

This role will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design, implement, and deploy machine learning models and systems.

The responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-performance cloud-native machine learning infrastructure and services.
  • Building scalable and secure machine learning pipelines and deploying them to production environments.
  • Developing and implementing tools and apps for machine learning automation using cloud ecosystems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into business use cases.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning engineering and experimenting with new technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline required.
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with languages such as Python, Go, Java, Scala, Kotlin, or C/C++.
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • 3+ years of experience working in cloud environments - Kubernetes, Dockers, ECS, and EKS.
  • 2+ years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Flink, and SQL programming.
  • Strong software engineering experience with Python.
  • Familiarity with data science methodologies and frameworks used for building and deploying production-grade systems.

Preferred Skills

Desirable

  • Master's degree.
  • Computer Science or related STEM field.
