About the Position:

This Senior Data Testing Engineer will design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for data validation and transformation processes.

The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers and developers to understand data flows and ensure quality across the pipeline.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for data validation and transformation processes.
  • Validate data integrity across various sources including APIs, databases.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand data flows and ensure quality across the pipeline.
  • Develop Python scripts using Pandas for data comparison, profiling, and anomaly detection.
  • Test data against RESTful APIs for correctness, performance, and reliability.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Necessary Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and testing.
  • Familiarity with data validation, data profiling, and data quality frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
