Editorial Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Editorial Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and editing audit reports and financial statements for accuracy, formatting, and consistency.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills, preferably with experience reviewing financial statements for an accounting firm. They should be able to quickly transition between assignments, have a high attention to detail, and be familiar with technology tools such as CaseWare/CaseView.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and Editing Attest Reports and Financial Statements: Reviewing and editing attest reports and financial statements for accuracy, including data checking and formatting.
• Collaborating with Attent Teams: Collaborating with attest teams to produce customizations and unique modifications to attest reports and financial statements.
• Maintaining High-Quality Documents: Ensuring attest documents are of high quality, meet consistency standards, and are error-free.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience, accounting firm/financial statement experience is preferred.
• Software Proficiencies:
• Microsoft Office Suite: Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams for video meetings and training).
• Adobe Pro: Adobe Pro (for document comparison and electronic proofreading markup).
• CaseWare/CaseView: CaseWare/CaseView, DataSnipper, knowledge is a plus.
