Luxury Graphic Designer

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer with a strong background in luxury branding and old-world design skills to translate creative briefs into elegant, visually appealing collateral across print and digital media.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and understand the nuances of upscale design – from glossy magazine layouts and brochures to sophisticated digital content. They should be a team player with excellent soft skills, able to collaborate with various departments and take feedback graciously, ensuring that every design aligns with our luxury aesthetic and brand vision.

• Design Luxury Marketing Collateral: Create and oversee a range of visually exquisite marketing materials, including brochures, magazines, event catalogues, and digital advertisements, maintaining a consistent luxury look and feel.">
• Brand Aesthetics & Consistency: Develop on-brand graphics for both print and digital platforms (e.g. travel brochures, web banners, social media visuals), ensuring a cohesive and luxurious visual identity across all channels.">
• Creative Concept Development: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to conceptualise and execute design ideas that reflect our luxury positioning. Take creative briefs and turn them into on-trend, beautiful, and elegant designs that captivate our high-end clientele.">
• Print and Digital Production: Prepare print-ready layouts for magazines, flyers, and other physical media, as well as optimise graphics for online use. Ensure all outputs meet quality standards befitting a luxury brand.">
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (content writers, travel product managers, sales, etc.) to produce cohesive campaigns. Communicate effectively with team members to understand project goals and present design concepts (strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must).">
• Brand Stewardship: Uphold and refine our brand's visual guidelines. Act as a steward of luxury design quality, reviewing and editing existing materials to elevate them to an upmarket, elegant standard.">

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in the luxury space (e.g. luxury retail, fashion, high-end hospitality, or magazine publishing). Experience creating for luxury brands or upscale audiences is highly preferred.">
• Design Portfolio: A strong, versatile portfolio that demonstrates taste, range, and a clear understanding of luxury content and aesthetics. We're looking for examples of elegant brochure layouts, sophisticated magazine designs, branding work, etc., not just social media graphics.">
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern design tools – especially Adobe Creative Suite (expert use of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) – is required. Familiarity with both print production and digital design best practices is important.">
• Design Fundamentals: Solid foundation in classic design principles. You might even consider yourself a stickler for proper typography and layout, with impeccable attention to detail in kerning, colour, and composition. The ability to blend timeless design principles with contemporary trends is key.">
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Able to take constructive feedback and work iteratively with the team. Strong time-management and organisational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.">
• Creative Vision: High creativity with a problem-solving mindset. Ability to take a brief or concept and develop it into a compelling visual story that aligns with luxury branding. Capable of creating and curating things of beauty for both print and pixels, delivering visuals that evoke emotional appeal and sophistication.">
• Education: Degree / Education in Graphic Design or a related field is a plus (or equivalent professional experience). Formal training in design, especially with a focus on visual communication or fine arts, will be advantageous.">
• Additional Plus: Prior work in a luxury travel, lifestyle, or hospitality brand is a bonus. Understanding of the luxury travel market or premium consumer behaviour can help create more targeted designs. Knowledge of printing processes or vendor coordination for high-quality print materials is also beneficial.">
