Business Tax Reviewer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit US business tax returns (Form 1065, 1120, 1120s) in a timely manner.
  • Conduct research on complex tax topics as needed, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in major tax laws at the IRS and state levels, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Draft clear and concise responses to tax notices and compile necessary documents for review.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of 1099 Forms for accounting clients at year-end.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance tax department efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas simply.
  2. Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  3. Good people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
