Automotive Software Engineer Role

Brief Description of the Role:

In this exciting role, you'll be part of our team developing cutting-edge automated driving systems. Your primary responsibility will be to support the creation of future ADAS system generations, enabling our vehicles to reach full autonomous driving (L4+).

To achieve this vision, we're working on developing in-house software modules that maximize component reusability and robustness in the autonomous driving landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake a variety of tasks and work effectively within multiple-disciplinary teams, mentoring junior SW engineers and clearly communicating findings through presentations and reporting
  • Understand requirements and develop high-level designs, decomposing them into detailed designs
  • Mentor junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs
  • Ability to create detailed software designs and support their implementation in software and API interfaces required from internal teams
  • Develop complex software to satisfy design objectives
  • Clearly understand API design for extensibility and portability of software across multiple implementations
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborate with global teams
Requirements:
  • Total 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 3+ years in application design and development
  • Responsibility for low-level design, implementation, and validation in complex automotive projects
  • Experience in designing and developing software solutions in AUTOSAR
  • Hands-on experience in programming languages like C/C++
  • Knowledge of Agile SW development process
  • Hands-on experience in developing systems based on various IPC mechanisms
  • Good knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR-based Communication and Diagnostic stack
  • Experience in Automotive SW middleware platforms
  • Strong understanding of software design and architectural patterns
  • Good understanding of ISO26262
