Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Translator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Japanese and English, with excellent translation and localization skills. They will be responsible for translating documents, product descriptions, and website content from Japanese to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and cultural relevance in every piece of communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translation Services: Translate various documents, product descriptions, and website content from Japanese to English and vice versa.
  • Accuracy and Quality: Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and contextually appropriate.
  • Proofreading and Editing: Proofread, edit, and refine translated content to maintain consistency.
  • Client Communication: Support client communication and meetings with the Japanese as needed.
  • Interpretation Services: Provide interpretation support during calls, discussions, or conferences if required.
  • Terminology Management: Collaborate with internal teams to maintain terminology consistency.

Requirements:

  • Japanese Language Proficiency: JLPT N1 Certification (mandatory).
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of Japanese & English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience: Prior experience in translation/localization or interpretation.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
