Social Media Content Strategist

At Barcode Entertainment, we're seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that drives engagement, grows our audience, and promotes our podcast.
Key Responsibilities:- Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy that showcases our podcast's unique voice and style, including creating engaging captions, descriptions, and social media posts.
- Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community by responding to listener feedback, encouraging discussions, and leveraging social media tools to build relationships with our audience.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track performance metrics on YouTube and Instagram, providing insights and recommendations based on data to optimize our social media strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our podcast guests, influencers, and team members to cross-promote content, refine promotional strategies, and create engaging content that highlights key moments, quotes, and takeaways from each episode.
- Proven experience managing YouTube channels and Instagram accounts, particularly for podcasts or video content.
- Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, content optimization, and audience growth strategies.
- Familiarity with podcasting, including current trends and promotional techniques.
- Excellent writing skills with a knack for crafting engaging and on-brand content.
- Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Creative, proactive, and passionate about social media and podcasting.
