Job Title: Fund Accounting Manager

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Professional to deliver accurate and timely Net Asset Values (NAVs) and perform various reconciliation tasks between client general ledger data and market data providers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage open- and closed-ended hedge funds with reconciliation and integration of trades for clients.
  • Account for corporate actions trades.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly GAV/NAV preparation, including booking of capital activities, market value reconciliation, computation of profit and loss for financial instruments, expense accounting, dividend accrual reconciliation, bond coupon accrual reconciliation, and confirming trial balance ledgers tie-up with sub-ledgers.
  • In-depth understanding of preparing and reviewing financial statements (US GAAP, IFRS).

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA with 5+ years of experience.
  • In-depth understanding of preparing and reviewing financial statements (US GAAP, IFRS).
  • Strong knowledge of financial and capital markets products, including equity, bonds, futures, options, and FX forwards.
  • Hands-on experience working with MS Excel and formulas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Performance Indicators:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely Net Asset Values (NAVs) and performing various reconciliation tasks between client general ledger data and market data providers. The position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills.
