As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of innovative nacelle systems for aerospace applications.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering and experience with system-level design, development, and testing. Your expertise in nacelle systems, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts, will be instrumental in driving project success.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and decompose system-level requirements, ensuring seamless integration with engine and aircraft components.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in aerospace systems engineering, with a focus on nacelle design, development, and testing.
- Strong knowledge of nacelle systems, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts.
- In-depth understanding of aviation regulatory requirements and certification processes.
- Proficiency with engineering software such as CATIA, ANSYS, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Define, decompose, and manage system-level requirements for nacelles, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts.
- Design and Development: Serve as the responsible engineer for nacelle systems, overseeing conceptual and detailed design. Manage the integration of nacelle systems with the engine and aircraft, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers.
- Ensure configuration management is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and manage the testing and validation plans for nacelle components and systems.
- Interpret and analyze test data to verify system performance and compliance.
- Conduct design trade-off studies to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost.
