Civil Structural Designer Role

This position involves the creation of detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Tekla, and Advance Steel software. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in modeling structures and civil work foundations, beams, and slabs in a 3D/2D environment.

  • Detailed Drawings: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla, and Advance Steel for creating detailed drawings including connection details.
  • General Arrangement Drawings: Preparing GA drawings for structure piperack/PEB structure.
  • Civil Foundation Drawings: Creating foundation drawings and beam drawings.
  • Structural GA & Fabrication Drawings: Preparing structural GA and fabrication drawings.
  • Layout Drawings: Preparing layout drawings including cutting layout drawings.
  • BOM's/MTO's: Preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
  • Bar Bending Schedule: Familiarity with bar bending schedule preparation is an advantage.
  • As-Built Mark-Ups: Updating CAD drawings with as-built mark-ups for final issue.
  • Shop Floor Issues: Attending shop floor issues during fabrication.
  • Vendor Drawing Review: Experience in vendor drawing review/commenting is preferred.
  • Engineering Drawings Checking: Experience in engineering drawings checking/commenting is an advantage.

The successful candidate will also prepare GA and fabrication drawings in a 2D environment using AutoCAD, and create detailed drawings including connection details.
