Job Title: Senior Project Delivery Manager



We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Delivery Manager to lead the execution and delivery of high-impact projects and programs at Kautilya Management Consultants.



Responsibilities:




  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are produced to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee ongoing production support activities to maintain the stability and performance of applications and systems.
  • Implement robust monitoring and incident management processes to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
  • Work closely with development teams to address bugs, enhance system functionality, and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project teams.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication, status updates, and progress reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets to ensure financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
  • Monitor expenditures, forecast budgetary needs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Implement financial controls and reporting mechanisms to manage project costs effectively and ensure budget adherence.
  • Identify and assess potential risks to project success and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place to manage unexpected challenges.
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and comply with organizational and industry best practices.
  • Implement quality control processes, conduct regular reviews, and perform audits to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement best practices, tools, and techniques to optimize project delivery and operational performance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and skills development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support career advancement.
  • Extensive experience in managing application development and maintenance activities, with a deep understanding of software development processes, lifecycle management, and technical best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects and programs, including experience in planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving project goals and objectives within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring teams.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members, manage performance, and drive a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Experience in managing and developing talent, including recruiting, training, and coaching team members.
  • Focus on creating a supportive and growth-oriented environment that encourages continuous learning and development.
  • Comprehensive experience in delivering projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt and apply the most suitable project management approach based on project requirements and organizational needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to various audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
