The role of a Senior Systems Engineer is pivotal within the sales team. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, the primary responsibility lies in gathering requirements and identifying opportunities with existing and new customers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnering with Account Managers: Understanding customer pain points through white board network architectural reviews.
  • Presenting Arista product solutions including Open Networking Data Centre and Cognitive Campus networking.
  • Architecting, designing, and proposing Data Centre Campus network solutions utilizing leaf-spine architectures and network overlays.
  • Conducting hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, Data Centre and/or Campus network designs, and network deployments.
  • Collaboration with Customers: Developing design guidelines and recommending improvements for supported networks.
  • Working with the Sales Team to respond to RFP/RFQs.
  • Providing feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Industry Representation: Representing at SDN and Open Networking industry events and conferences.
  • Staying up-to-date on competitive solutions, products, and services.
  • Authoring white papers on technology and product.
