Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions to streamline our network configuration and management processes.

About the Role
  • Develop Python-based automation scripts for network configuration push and rollback across Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia routers.
  • Integrate scripts with Rundeck (or similar automation/workflow orchestration tool) for job scheduling, parameterization, and logging.
  • Design Jinja2-based configuration templates and YAML/JSON variable structures.
  • Create automated workflows for software upgrades, validation checks, and rollback.
  • Integrate verification modules using NAPALM, pyATS/Genie, ncclient (NETCONF), and/or TextFSM.
Requirements
  • Collaborate with network SMEs to translate manual workflows into code-based logic.
  • Maintain Git repository for scripts and templates with proper version control and branching.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, or Puppet.
