Frontend Developer

About GlueX Protocol:

The Role:

  • Frontend developer who excels in taking ownership from concept to launch.
  • Deliver high-quality user-facing features using Next.js (or React) and Typescript.
  • Closely collaborate with designers, product managers and backend engineers.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Owning the user experience – plan, build and ship new features end to end.
  2. Collaborate with design, product managers and backend engineers to plan, develop and launch new product features.
  3. Identify, troubleshoot and resolve existing or newly identified prioritized defects.
  4. Maintain high quality code through solid testing and adherence to best practices/standards.
  5. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional full-time experience with frontend development (React / Next.js preferred).
  • A strong background in frontend state management libraries, build systems, bundlers and static asset optimization.
  • Familiarity with integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Nice To Have:

  • Familiarity or strong interest in blockchain technologies, DeFi ecosystems and crypto tools.
  • Experience working closely with design tools (Figma).
