Job DescriptionWe're looking for a skilled Cloud-Native Application Developer to design and build serverless applications and back-end services using Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-native solutions and CI/CD pipelines;
- Integrating with AWS services, monitoring, and optimizing application performance;
- Ensuring the scalability and security of our cloud solutions;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise;
This role requires a strong background in cloud-native development, experience with RESTful APIs and microservices, and proficiency in developing event-driven applications. You should have a solid understanding of security best practices in cloud-native development and excellent problem-solving skills.
As a Cloud-Native Application Developer at Infraveo, you will work independently on creating applications from scratch, not just maintaining existing codebases. This is NOT a dev-ops role, but rather a technical lead position that demands hands-on experience in designing and building cloud-native applications.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- At least 2+ years of experience building cloud-native applications with services from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform;
- Proficiency in developing cloud-native applications using services such as cloud functions, single-table NoSQL data stores, cloud storage, etc.;
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices;
- Proven experience collaborating effectively with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic;
- Strong programming skills, preferably in languages such as TypeScript or Python;
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform;
- Proficiency creating and maintaining event-driven cloud-native applications;
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud-native development;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, communication skills, and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and remotely;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
