Data Expert

This role is perfect for a meticulous professional with strong analytical skills and experience in data management, reporting, and visualization.

We seek an experienced data expert with expertise in TSQL, SSRS, ETL, Azure data storage, Azure Synapse, and data warehousing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solutions to meet business needs.
  • Maintain and improve warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Extract data from various sources and consolidate it into a data warehouse or lake.
  • Ensure data accessibility and structure for reporting purposes.
  • Set up dashboards and reports using data visualization tools.
  • Build reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor and address issues proactively.
  • Implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with agile teams to design, develop, and maintain software.
  • Work with product management to prioritize technical debt remediation.
  • Design and implement repeatable data pull requests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with SQL Servers and relational databases.
  • Strong experience with querying and optimizing complex data sets.
  • Experience working with legacy code and systems.
  • End-to-end knowledge from product databases to information visualization.
  • Experience in Azure cloud technologies.
  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting using SSRS and Power BI.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-organization and prioritization abilities.
