Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Software Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on designing, developing, and implementing applications and modules, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and understand functional and technical requirements of applications, solutions, and systems.
  • Translate requirements into software architecture and design specifications.
  • Develop and implement unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies to ensure quality of software.
  • Identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of software designs, code, and development processes.

You will customize modules to meet specific business requirements and work on integrating with other systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, or related field (1-3 years of experience) OR Bachelor's degree in same fields (4-6 years of experience) OR Diploma in same fields (7-9 years of experience).
  • Proficient in General-Purpose High-Level Language (e.g., Python, Java, C#.NET).
  • Proficient in Javascript UI Framework (e.g., React, ExtJs).
  • Proficient in SQL (e.g., Oracle, PostGres, Databricks).
  • Experience with event-based architecture (e.g., Mulesoft, AWS EventBridge, AWS Kinesis, Kafka).

Preferred qualifications include 1+ year of experience in implementing and supporting biopharma scientific software platforms, strong understanding of software development methodologies, hands-on experience with Full Stack software development, and experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
