Job Overview

As a seasoned data expert, you will play a pivotal role in developing end-to-end data pipelines for operational data from diverse sources. Your advanced propensity modeling skills will be instrumental in solving core business problems.

The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in Data roles at operations-heavy startups (fintech, logistics, e-commerce, or similar). For Senior Candidates (4-8 yrs), proven propensity modeling experience is mandatory.

You will work closely with the team to create real-time dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for operational performance tracking and perform statistical analysis to optimize field force efficiency and collection strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced propensity models (e.g., payment likelihood, risk segmentation)
  • Create data-driven solutions for field operations and high-frequency workflows
  • Lead A/B testing of operational interventions and repayment solutions

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also mentor junior team members on operational analytics best practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in SQL + Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
  • Experience with Power BI/Tableau
  • Statistical modeling for operational decision-making
  • A startup-ready mindset: adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Built data solutions for field operations or high-frequency workflows
  • Hands-on propensity modeling for customer behavior prediction
  • Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) + Big Data tools (Spark/Hadoop)
