SAP ABAP Technical Expert Role

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Technical Expert to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP modules and integration. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality technical solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining ABAP programs and applications in SAP systems.
  • Collaborating with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Performing code reviews and ensuring best practices in coding and documentation are followed.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to ABAP programs and SAP modules.
  • Participating in system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation for developed solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming language, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Experience with SAP tools such as SAP HANA, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
  • Knowledge of data dictionary objects, including tables, views, and indexes.
  • Familiarity with SAP NetWeaver and SAP Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to work with ALV Reports, BAPIs, and User Exits.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
