Job Title: Plumbing System Lead Engineer

  • Plan, coordinate and lead plant design activities in a team environment.
  • Manage scope, budget, and schedule to meet project goals.
  • Coordinate with multi-discipline designers to develop designs.
  • Design hydraulic systems including domestic cold hot water supply, soil, waste venting, rainwater down takes disposal systems.
  • Perform calculations for water supply, sewerage, and storm water systems using Excel sheets.
  • Proficient in software like Auto CAD, Revit, BIM 360, plumbing software, SprinkCALC etc.
  • Perform quality review checks for 2D/3D modelling.
  • Design hot water systems including generators, Domestic Steam boilers and heat pumps.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver results on time.
  • Estimate designer effort-hours for plumbing systems.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of US Plumbing design codes and standards.
  • Experience working on US projects involving plumbing systems.
  • Fire Fighting system design knowledge including sprinkler systems, hydrants, water curtain systems, plant rooms and water tanks.
  • Knowledge of gas supply systems is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is also beneficial.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in plumbing design.
  • Relevant engineering/design experience in industrial/advanced technology sectors or Life sciences.
  • Experience in Semiconductor, Life sciences/Pharma, Food Beverage industries is preferable.
  • Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel).
  • Excellent English language skills - written and spoken.
