Statutory Audit Role

We are seeking an experienced statutory auditor to join our team. As a semi-qualified CA with experience in statutory audit during articleship, you will be responsible for developing audit planning documentation, conducting audits, reviewing work papers, and ensuring compliance with internal standards.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IGAAP, IND AS, and its practical application, as well as a solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing audit planning documentation addressing scope, audit objective, budgeted hours, resource plan, and reporting date.
  • Conducting audits, addressing all audit objectives, and controlling, monitoring, and reporting on audit progress.
  • Monitoring assignments to improve efficiency and managing audits within time and resource budgets.
  • Gathering and compiling information and data.
  • Providing recommendations for strengthening controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop audit planning documentation, including scope, objectives, hours, resources, and deadlines.
  2. Complete assigned audits, meeting objectives and requirements, and ensuring quality.
  3. Manage assignment efficiency, meet deadlines, and control budgets.
  4. Gather and compile data, providing actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • Semi-qualified CA with experience in statutory audit during articleship.
  • Proficient knowledge of statutory audit procedures and standards.
  • Strong expertise in IGAAP, IND AS, and its practical application.
  • Solid understanding of INDAS and the Companies Act.
