**Financial Operations Leader**

This role is responsible for leading financial operations and ensuring accurate financial planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and presenting timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Monitoring and analyzing manufacturing costs, variances, and production performance.
  • Conducting variance analysis, including material, labor, and overhead variances.
  • Budgeting & forecasting annual budgeting process for manufacturing operations.
  • Inventory optimization and control over receipts and physical verification.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to support forecasting and long-term financial planning.
  • Validating, approving, reviewing, and managing the collection and payment of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).

**Cost Control & Optimization:**

  • Implementing and maintaining robust cost accounting systems and processes.
  • Analyzing cost structures and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Monitoring and controlling manufacturing overhead costs, ensuring accurate allocation to products and processes.

**Operational Support:**

  • Collaborating with production and operations teams to understand financial implications of manufacturing activities.
  • Providing financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
  • Utilizing job order costing and process costing techniques to ensure accurate product costing.

**Audit Coordination:**

  • Acting as a point of contact for external auditors.
  • Coordinating audit activities across all subsidiaries, ensuring timely and complete submission of audit schedules and reports.
  • Addressing audit queries in a timely and efficient manner.

**Banking & Treasury:**

  • Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring accurate records of all cash transactions.
  • Setting up and processing international payments to foreign vendors.
  • Maintaining documentation and relationships with banking institutions.

**Annual Statutory & Financial Reporting:**

  • Liaising with external auditors and regulatory consultants to ensure timely completion of statutory audit and ROC filings.
  • Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register (FAR); verifying capitalisations, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
  • Supporting in drafting and finalising financial statements and ensuring timely submission to regulators.

**Qualifications & Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (CA, CA Inter, MBA) preferred.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a similar role with exposure to headquarter reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and cross-border compliance requirements.
