About This Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Technical Solutions Specialist, focusing on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Epson Large Format Printers. As a skilled professional in this field, you will be responsible for providing on-site support, troubleshooting, and repair services to ensure optimal printer performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure Epson Large Format Printers at customer locations, ensuring they meet specific technical requirements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot printer faults, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve technical issues related to printing systems and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, networking issues for business customers, utilizing your expertise in large format printers and computer systems.
- Coordinate with technical support teams and manufacturers' engineers for complex troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Manage spare parts inventory, request replacements when needed, and maintain detailed service reports after each service visit.
- Provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper usage and maintenance of printers and computer systems, promoting efficient workflow and productivity.
- Ensure timely service response, achieve defined service KPIs, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution and follow-up.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment, preferably with knowledge of Epson large format printers.
- Strong understanding of networking, computer hardware, operating systems, and printer drivers, with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field.
- Frequent travel within the designated region is required, and good communication and customer service orientation are essential for success in this role.
