Job Opportunity: Appian Development Lead

The ideal candidate for this role will lead a team of developers to design, develop, and maintain scalable Appian-based applications. With deep expertise in Appian and experience leading technical teams, the successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) and be able to ensure best practices in Appian development.

This is a key leadership position that requires collaboration with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. The Appian Development Lead will also oversee deployment processes, support go-live activities, and stay current with Appian updates and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and maintain scalable Appian-based applications
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
  • Oversee deployment processes, support go-live activities, and stay current with Appian updates and industry trends
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5+ years in Appian BPM
  • Appian Level 2 (Senior Developer) certification or higher
  • Experience leading technical teams and delivering complex projects
  • Strong understanding of Appian features such as SAIL, CDT, Records, Sites, and Process Models
  • Knowledge of relational databases, web services (REST/SOAP), and integration patterns
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD for Appian
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and containerization
  • Previous experience working in regulated industries
