Senior Full Stack Developer Leader

Cotiviti is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer Leader to lead the development of its Java/Oracle based application suite and Spring boot/Angular based modern application suite.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, guidance to the team, and work independently to build and integrate robust, fault-tolerant backend services and angular frontend for information processing requirements to payment accuracy products.

This includes collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the design and develop complex systems using design patterns and implementing software, data solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts. Behaviour driven and Test driven development (BDD/TDD) would be preferred.
  • Driving and leading design discussions and actively participating with Technical Product Owners, Scrum Master, Release Train Engineers, architects, agile teams, and operations teams to define plans for each Program Increment and sprints.
  • Taking complete ownership of Team goals for the Sprint, and helping the team to reach the sprint goals by providing technical guidance and mentoring the team with best practices.
  • Actively participating in the PI planning and formulating the PI Objectives, helping and guiding the team understand the objectives & commitments.
  • owning and providing guidance on complex stories and completing them in the appropriate sprint.
  • Identifying and resolving dependencies and risks involved in completing the stories upfront and sharing proactively.
  • Participating proactively in the daily stand-ups, Sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Following git flow (Pull requests) and maintaining the unit test coverage as well as passing the SonarQube quality gate for the code that is written.
  • Communicating technical and operational issues to both engineering and leadership in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems.
  • Working collaboratively with Technical Architects, Product owners, and QA Team to define and ensure the completeness and accuracy of system / technical requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with other teams such as infrastructure teams to fulfil the story requirements.
  • Mentoring team members as appropriate and proactively supporting the team for accomplishing the team deliverables.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering in IT/ Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Systems.
  • 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in complete Software Development Life Cycle with Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, HTML, Javascript/JQuery, CSS, Angular/Typescripts, JSON(RestfulAPI), DevOps implementation knowledge.
  • Well versed with git version control system, IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ, SQL tools like SQL Developer.
