As a Surveillance Analyst, you play a vital role in safeguarding the assets, employees, clients, and reputation of a global financial institution. Your responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing electronic communication alerts generated from automated surveillance systems to detect potential violations of policies and regulations. You will also perform audio surveillance by listening to voice communications of recorded employees to identify any non-compliance issues. Additionally, you will document rationales for closing alerts, adhere to written operating procedures, and contribute to the enhancement and improvement of the communication surveillance program.

The EMEA Surveillance Department sits within the Core Compliance Division, responsible for preventing, monitoring, detecting, and reporting suspicious trading activities, market and client misconduct, and other compliance breaches. This department plays a critical role in ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and internal policies. The team is based in London, supported by its Centre of Excellence in Bangalore, with a remit spanning across the EMEA region to deliver strategic surveillance solutions.
