Automation Specialist Role

The company seeks a skilled Automation Specialist to play a key role in designing, developing, and executing automation test suites for the platform. This professional will be responsible for capturing data, completing analysis on mobile applications, creating dashboards with captured data, and providing it to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automation test suites for the platform.
  • Capture data and complete analysis on mobile applications.
  • Create dashboards with captured data and provide it to customers.
  • Assist customers with automation where applicable.
  • Identify test automation opportunities to improve efficiency and test coverage.

Required Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Webdriverio, etc.).
  • Proficiency in mobile and web application testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of unix-based environments (Linux and Mac).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

A working understanding of mobile frameworks like Espresso and XCTest, knowledge of automation tools like Appium, Selenium, WebDriver, etc., and developing/evolving production-grade web services and agents written in Python and Tornado.
